Course Dessert

Equipment

  • 1 Charcuterie Board

Ingredients

  • Assorted Chocolates Milk chocolate bars, dark chocolate squares, white chocolate-covered pretzels
  • Gummies Gummy bears, sour worms, gummy cherries
  • Hard Candies Peppermints, lollipops, Jolly Ranchers
  • Chewy Candies Caramels, taffy, jelly beans
  • Nuts Chocolate-covered almonds, honey-roasted peanuts
  • Extras Marshmallows, candy corn, rock candy sticks
  • Fresh Fruit optional: Strawberries, orange slices
  • Garnishes Edible flowers, mint leaves, powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Lay the Foundation: Start with a large board or platter as your base.
  • Anchor the Board: Place larger items like chocolate bars and big gummies in different spots on the board. These will serve as focal points.
  • Fill in the Gaps: Add your medium-sized candies like gummy bears, hard candies, and caramels around the larger items. Group similar candies together to create visual harmony.
  • Use Bowls and Liners: Place small candies like jelly beans, M&Ms, and chocolate-covered nuts in small bowls or cupcake liners to keep them from rolling around.
  • Add Layers and Height: Stack candy in small piles or layer in mini bowls to create height and dimension on your board.
  • Garnish: Sprinkle on some powdered sugar, tuck in sprigs of mint, and add edible flowers for a touch of elegance.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Your candy charcuterie board is ready to wow your guests!
